Pat Dunker will conduct an alcohol ink class on Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17 at Fairborn Art Association Gallery. Class will consist of demonstrations of multiple methods of using alcohol ink followed by class participation in each method with guidance from Pat. Time: 9:30-12:30, lunch, 1:30-3:30. Alcohol inks – the alcohol inks you have. Best to have a red, yellow and blue plus a gold (Amazon has a set for $23.99 – they went up from $19.99 but it’s still the best price I could find). Yupo paper-4-5 pieces per day of 8×10 or 11×14. 91% rubbing alcohol – you can share. Brushes – a couple sizes. Toothbrush – old. Any stencils you may have. Any smooth surface you might want to try or experiment with – wood, aluminum, metal, glass, etc. Paper towels. I will bring some inks. Stencils. Bristol paper. Tiles. Wax paper. Saran Wrap. Glass or plastic plates. Acrylic gloss medium. Shaving cream and spatula. Hand sanitizer, felt squares. Straws. Elmers Glue. Q tips and swabs.
