The Landscape 2016, juried art exhibition reception featuring Valle View Reserve and Community Park Reserve was held July 10th at the Fairborn Art Association Gallery. This exhibition was presented in collaboration between the B-W Greenway Community Land Trust and the Fairborn Art Association.

The Landscape exhibition was established in 2009 to heighten public awareness of local green spaces and the need to preserve them, as well as to foster an interest in painting from nature. Each year a different location in the Greenway is featured, and this year the area of Mad River Scenic Byway was the choice for the artists.

Fifteen artists participated entering 33 pieces of art. This year’s juror was Tess Cortess, an artist and Gallery operations manager from Wright State University.

Awards and ribbons were presented to the participating artists by B-W Greenway Community Land Trust Trustees, Bob Jurick and Marit Riddle who is co-chairmen with Bob Coates.

The Fairborn Art Association Gallery purchased the ribbons and graciously allowed the use of their gallery.

The Landscapes 2016 Exhibition will be open to the public the July 24 from 2- 4 pm. Everyone is invited to see great art of Valle View and Community Park Reserves.
