An 8-week class concentrating on portrait/figure painting will run from September 4 thru October 30, 2014 (no class on Oct. 9). The class will meet on Thursdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Fairborn Art Gallery, 221 North Central Ave, Fairborn. We will paint four samples in different categories of references; children, young and old, and a self portrait. Each week, class will take on a new project to complete using your references or my demo references. We will focus on how to complete a portrait/figure painting to produce a likeness and portray the essence of the person in a painterly manner.
